If you live west of Worcester Country or anywhere else in New England that’s not southern New Hampshire, be warned: Saturday’s Patriots game may not be on local TV for you.
With the Week 16 game against the Buffalo Bills flexed into a rare Saturday slot, this week’s Patriots broadcast goes from its normal CBS broadcast to broadcasting on NFL Network and WBZ in Boston. Because of the semi-exclusive NFL Network broadcast, other local markets will be blocked from airing the game. That means, if you’re outside the Boston TV market and don’t get WBZ, the game won’t be on local TV.
The “Boston” TV market stretches outside greater Boston and includes Worcester County in Massachusetts as well as some counties in southern New Hampshire (Belknap, Cheshire, Hillsborough, Merrimack, Rockingham and Strafford) and one county in Vermont (Windham).
